Dr. Nguyen attended the University of Texas at Dallas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then continued his post graduate education at the University of Houston College of Optometry, obtaining his doctorate degree in 2019, graduating with Magna Cum Laude. His externship started with the Cedar Spring Eye Clinic in Dallas, providing care to an indigent population that presented with a plethora of severe ocular diseases. He was also given the opportunity to fit many specialty lenses for the keratconus population. His next externship site was at Acadian Vision Associates in Lousiana, where he was able to treat many common condition such as cataracts, macular degeneration, and dry eyes.
Dr. Nguyen is currently certified as a therapeutic optometrist and a glaucoma specialist, allowing him to diagnose, manage, and treat most ocular disease. After graduation, he moved back to Mesquite, Texas to stay with his family. A healthy lifestyle is what Dr. Nguyen strives for, as he tries to watch his diet and workout on a daily basis. He also enjoys outdoors activities and catching up on the Cowboys games.
