The CLC provides free screenings for our patient's children.  After all, the ability to see "20/20" develops at about age 6 months and certainly should be checked before pre-school or kindergarten.  Schools check distance vision, but it is the close vision (reading, computers) that is used all day at school and needs to be tested for all students.
